About

The engineerbehind CalibrX.

CalibrX is built and maintained by Nassim Hammami — a machine learning and computer vision engineer. The guides, docs, and tools here come from hands-on work designing the platform’s detection, calibration, and validation pipeline.

Nassim Hammami is a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer with 4+ years designing, building, and shipping production AI systems for real-world use. He currently leads machine-learning work at Sparrow Computing, owning client computer-vision projects end to end — from model design and evaluation through to reliable deployment.

He is Top Rated Plus on Upwork, with 80+ delivered projects across medical imaging, agriculture, sports, and finance — spanning image segmentation, object detection, stereo and 3D vision, and multispectral systems.

He built CalibrX to make accurate camera calibration and image undistortion accessible in the browser — no OpenCV scripting or MATLAB toolbox license required. The platform’s pattern detection, multi-model calibration (pinhole, wide, and fisheye), validation, and export pipeline are all designed from first principles, which is the same perspective the calibration guides on this blog are written from.

Nassim holds an engineer’s degree from the École Polytechnique de Tunisie, graduating with highest honors, and completed a research internship at the University of Manitoba on machine-learning models for UAV sensing.
